1. Introduction

2. Place an order

The ordering process consists of three (3) successive steps.

Once your choice has been made, and your basket validated, you must:

  • log in,
  • accept the general conditions of sale by checking the box provided for this purpose on the summary page of your order (entitled "Summary of your order"),
  • choose your method of payment.

Once your payment method has been selected, you must proceed to payment for your order, which will firmly and definitively formalize the sales contract which binds you to GSI. For payments by bank transfer, the contract is validated upon receipt of the money in GSI bank account.

3. Product information

GSI takes the greatest care in putting online information relating to the essential characteristics of the products, in particular by means of technical descriptions and photographs illustrating the products, within the limits of the technique and in compliance with the best market standards. The photographs reproducing the products are not contractual.

GSI classifies its product offers into two categories with an offer dedicated to individuals and an offer dedicated to professionals. It is necessary to respect this classification when choosing your product.

Therefore, any purchase by a private customer of a machine dedicated to professional use, will be assimilated to a purchase made by a professional (see article 8 Right of withdrawal)

Any purchase for professional use (considered intensive use) of a machine dedicated to domestic use cannot assert the legal warranty.

GSI designs, manufactures and markets steamers, the use of which is mainly linked to the presentation of ready-to-wear clothes by removing the folds of transport and packaging by the action of steam, or as part of a use domestic as a vertical ironing.

The responsibility of GSI is limited to supplying an appliance producing steam according to the characteristics displayed on the product sheets.

GSI products are not responsible for the ineffectiveness of steam on the treatment of certain fabrics or other supports, properties inherent in water vapor.

4. Price

The sale prices indicated on the Site are by default in GBP. The prices are displayed without tax. The delivery costs are indicated to the User during the ordering process according to the destination (delivery address) and are invoiced to him at the end of the order in addition to the price of the selected products. The price to be paid is in GPB. The price is always clearly indicated before the order is confirmed.

For duty-free purchases, it is the buyer's responsibility to pay import taxes requested by the customs service in force in his country.

Before paying for your order, you agree to pay the customs duties for the importation of the product into your country. Without your validation, payment is impossible.

We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time but we undertake to apply the current prices which will have been indicated to you on the Site at the time of your order. We inform you that in the event of an incorrect, obviously derisory price (low price) being displayed, for whatever reason (computer bug, manual error, technical error, etc.), the order will be canceled, even if initial validation.

5. Availability

We will honor your order within the limits of our available stocks.

In the event that one of the products ordered is not available in our stocks, we undertake to contact you by email within 2 days from the date of your order in order to inform you and to you indicate the timeframe, if any, this product could be delivered to you.

If some of the products ordered are temporarily unavailable, we will then suggest that you send you an item of equivalent quality and price to replace the unavailable product. 6. Delivery methods

Your order will be delivered to the address you specified during the ordering process as the delivery address.

Shipments are made daily, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in France.

  • Orders registered from Monday to Friday and paid before 12 noon are shipped the day of the order.
  • Orders recorded and paid for on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are shipped on Monday or the day after the non-working day.

Our partner for transport is GLS, a Royal Mail Company.

  • The vast majority of delivery destinations offered are covered within 5 working days.

When the transport ticket for your order is edited and your package is taken over by the carrier,

you receive by email or sms a message with a link and the number of your package, to allow you to follow its delivery.

Upon receipt, take care to check the condition of your package and to make all the necessary reservations with the carrier.

In the event of damage, clearly describe the damage observed on the transport slip. If the finding is not possible on the day of delivery, you have 48 hours to make this declaration to the carrier. The assumption of the costs of transport and replacement of the product depend on these observations. In the absence of a finding, no claim subsequent to the delivery date will be considered and our responsibility will not be engaged.

Packages are shipped according to your information. If this information is insufficient or incorrect, we cannot be held responsible for the non-delivery of your package.

Merchandise (s) not received by the buyer due to absence (s), not reachable by phone or email, late responses, etc ... or any other cause neither engaging our responsibility nor that of the carrier, will not refunded.

The carrier is approved by the customs services of your country to charge VAT and customs clearance costs. Follow the instructions provided for payment and delivery can take place.

If you refuse to pay customs charges, the merchandise remains your property and you are solely responsible for its return to sender. 8. Right of withdrawal.

Individual customers: You have 14 days to withdraw from any purchase made on our site www.gecko-steamer.co.uk. This period begins to run from the date of delivery of your package. This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty. This right of return can only be accepted for products in their original condition (unused) and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.). Items returned incomplete, damaged, damaged, used or soiled by the Customer will not be taken back.

Any package opened or used by the buyer, returned to GSI as part of a refund request will be subject to a fixed and systematic withholding of £25 (equivalent depending on the currency used at the time of payment) for repair. , loss of value, and reconditioning. Any return of merchandise must be accompanied by the withdrawal form to be completed, dated and signed.

In the event of a refund, GSI will reimburse you by re-crediting the bank card used for the transaction no later than 14 days following the date on which you exercised your right of withdrawal, on the express condition to have received your return (parcel delivered against signature). The additional delivery costs and taxes paid at the time of the order for shipments are not reimbursed. If we have to pay taxes or freight charges for returning the merchandise, the amounts paid will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.

9. Return

Any return of merchandise must be made within the framework of the right of withdrawal (article 8 of our GTC) accompanied by the withdrawal form to be completed, dated and signed.

The postage fees are paid by the buyer. 10. Guarantees and after-sales services (SAV)

All our equipment sold, whether new or used, benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the following legal conditions.

The seller is required to deliver goods in conformity with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.

To comply with the contract, the good must:

Changing the function changes the workload for which they are designed.

The legal guarantee does not cover:

  • replacement of consumables
  • damage caused to the heating elements due to scaling or lime deposits.
  • damage caused to heating elements and sealing parts by the use of unsuitable acidic product (s) and liquid (s).
  • malfunctions of protective components related to damage to heating elements due to scaling or lime deposits. (ex: melting of a thermal protection fuse)
  • the fusion of a safety element, thermal fuse type which protects the device and especially the user in the event of overheating. Overheating occurs if the appliance is operated without water, damage to the heating elements due to scaling or lime deposits or unsuitable working intensity. As a reminder, all our devices are exclusively dedicated to vertical steaming. While they are recommended for the disinfection of textile articles for the properties of steam, they are not disinfection devices. The modification of the use of the device automatically leads to the loss of warranty.
  • abnormal or improper use of the products. In this regard, we invite you to carefully read the instructions for use supplied with the products. As a reminder, all our devices are exclusively dedicated to vertical steaming. While they are recommended for the disinfection of textile articles for the properties of steam, they are not disinfection devices. The modification of the use of the device automatically leads to the loss of warranty.
  • damage due to the intervention of a repairer not approved by GSI.
  • damage resulting from a cause external to the device (for example, accident, shock, lightning, current fluctuation, etc.)

After-sales service and repairs:

The devices sold on the gecko-steamer.co.uk site are covered by our 2-year manufacturer's warranty on the express condition of respecting the intended use. (domestic and professional category)

We provide repairs on all our equipment. In the event of a malfunction, the customer sends his device to Salamandres Europe, 53 grande rue, 60620 Rosoy en Multien, France.

No request for payment of transport costs will be taken into account before an assessment of an allegedly defective device.

Thus, we avoid any unnecessary expense and source of conflict. We will consider that the user may be responsible for the malfunction of the device: lack of maintenance, limescale, breakage and other faults in use and maintenance ... and that we do not then have to assume the burden. . Only our expertise prevails in determining the cause of the dysfunction.

GSI then undertakes to take charge of any repairs. Whatever the problem with your item, you must attach a copy of its invoice to the device.

GSI cannot be held responsible in the event of refusal to apply its guarantee for the reasons set out above. If the repair is not covered, GSI will establish an estimate.

11. Litigation and liability

GSI cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract concluded, on the one hand in case of force majeure, as defined by the courts on the other hand in the event of fault of the customer or the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract. GSI cannot be held responsible for the consequences resulting from the misuse of the products sold on the Site.

12. Intellectual property

All of the content of the gecko-steamer.co.uk Site (illustrations, texts, labels, brands, images, videos) is the property of GSI. Any partial or total reproduction of the content by any means whatsoever and on any medium is subject to the prior and express authorization of GSI. All information, content, files and software offered by our services are protected by French and international laws concerning intellectual property and copyright.

GSI cannot give you permission to copy, display or distribute any content for which you do not have intellectual property rights. Any use of these contents in fraud of the rights held by third parties on them constitutes the offense of counterfeiting, severely sanctioned by the Code of Intellectual Property.

GSI can in no way be held responsible for the violation by a user of rights held by third parties and perpetrated as a result of the latter's activities on the Site.
